hey're named
for, to the finale ("Don't Feed the Plants") the musical is lively,
entertaining, and most of all, funny as hell. Particularly notable are
the sadistic dentist (played by Jack Nicholson in the film) who dies
of an overdose of nitrous oxide an becomes the plant's first meal, and
the plant (Audrey II) itself, an extremely well-animated puppet with a
booming voice.
In short, I recommend this musical to anyone who has the
chance, and the money, to see it. It isn't really science fiction --
just great fun.
