I am quite interested in getting the TCP pseudo-dialer code working in
4.2BSD uucp. It almost works. It always times out and fails partway through
a connection. Before I dive in and try to debug it, I wanted to ask around
to see if anybody else had encountered this problem and whether you had a
fix. It looks like the master end is not getting any acks back from the
slave end.
Here is a transcript of a uucico session in full debug. Notice the last 20
lines or so, where it keeps trying to retransmit the same packet, and
finally gives up.
Any ideas? Any fixes? Any hints?
