After hearing the paper about honeydanber given in Washington at the usenix conference, one of our folks decided he could do it in less than a summer. He re-implemented the design, adding several enhancements and correcting all the known uucp bugs. We only have the origonal documentation (the text of the BTL paper,) but do plan to do more complete documentation. The code works here, and has been running without any problems for some months. Doug has ported the 4.1 environment to our 68k port of unix, so he is sensitive to portability issues, making his code clean and internally well designed, *but* we have only run it on the 68k, not on a VAX. Anyone with both 4.x and USG source licenses is welcome to a copy. Please specify if you want us to wait until we have documentation. Send tape, return addr label, and proof of license. No promises, of course, but a good system programmer should have no problem getting it to work on his local system. And we charge no license fee. Because Bell source code is included, we will check with ATT before returning your tape and hesitate to post or mail Bell sources through usenet.
