I think the time has come for net.sources.games for all you people that have time to deal with the good stuff AND time left to play games. What do you think? Please send mail. If +++, I will create it. If ---, I will forget about it (and possibly wear out my "n" key). regards, joe -- Full-Name: Joseph M. What about net.games.sources ? Recently I asked how people wanted hack 1.0.2 to be distributed. One of the reactions was > Please, I implore you not to post hack to net.sources again. Ask users to > send tapes, or other media. I can't justify paying for the long distance > charges for games distributed to the net. Even though I don't pay directly > myself, it does come out of my profit share. and there were one or two similar reactions. It seems to me that the people interested in net.games are the same as those interested in game sources, so that net.games.sources would be a more appropriate place. -- Andries Brouwer -- CWI, Amsterdam -- {philabs, decvax}!mcvax!aeb

> FROM: Andries Brouwer -- CWI, Amsterdam -- {philabs, decvax}!mcvax!aeb > What about net.games.sources ? I think this is a great idea. There are many sites who cannot justify storing/shipping games. And, no, it wouldn't automatically create net.games.sources.{d,bugs} because that can go in the same group -- there just isn't *that much* traffic of games sources alone. -- Fred Avolio {decvax, seismo}!grendel!avolio 301/731-4100 x4227
