First, I apologize in advance if the following is a well known
problem. One of the sites we communicate with has their modem
set up so that it does not drop carrier when uucico terminates.
It just goes back to getty and puts up a login prompt. Our
uucico logs a normal "Converstation Complete", but then sits
there looking at the login prompt, and ultimately times out.
There is no great harm in this, except that an STST file is
always created, which can delay the next demand call and
misleads uusnap.
Are there any suggestions for measures we can take on our side?
We run 4.2BSD and the original uucp suite.
