Due to a bug in MH.50 (address parse error) uuxqt caused a flow of mails around the world yesterday. A buffer of uuxqt was overwritten across its boundaries, and changed the filenames of the uucp command and data files. So it did not remove those working files. As a consequence of mails sent back, that some address on the mail list was not longer valid, uucp of a remote machine logged in, and restarted uuxqt, which found the not removed working files, and decided to transport those again, again, again, again. Ie change the order of the buffers, so there is less change of corrupting the names. And increase the buffers of uuxqt! (Or do array bound checking, malloc, etc....). Apologize for the mail flooooooood.
