Hi, Does anybody know good or bad things about the following modems... 1) Rixon 212 2) Novation 212 3) NEC 212 4) Penril 212 Can anybody give me some information about short haul modems (SHM). My company wants to string wires (Thats regulation 4 wire telephone lines.) from our computer at one end of the building to our desks at the other side of the building. (That's about 500'.) Can anybody recommend any good cheap short haul modems or line drivers. Does anybody know about a mux that is specifically advertised to use the dimension system. It is supposedly avoids the cost of stringing additional point to point telephone lines and the use of SHM's. The advert. had a man pluggng his terminal into a recepticle for a modular telephone jack. I thought I saw something like this advertised in the trade magazines but I have not been able to find the ad again. I think it is a mux but could it be sort of port selector?
