[net.dcom] How long is a break `character"\\\\\\\\?

The problem was getty reading one break as two.  Make sure that getty
on the machine you're calling sleeps for a second and then flushes
the tty input.  (I seem to recall someone proposing that the sleep  be
eliminated.)
