C & O SEMINAR ================================================= | | |DATE: Friday, September 8, 1989 | | | |TIME: 3:30 p.m. | | | |PLACE: DC 1302 | | | |SPEAKER: Dr. A. Pott | | Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio | | | |TITLE: Divisible Difference Sets | |================================================| ABSTRACT It is well known that (v,k,t) difference sets correspond to symmetric (v,k,t)-designs admitting a sharply transitive automorphism group and vice versa. An analogous statement is true for divisible differ- ence sets and group divisible designs, as well as for strongly regular graphs and partial difference sets. In my talk I will present new results about divisible difference sets and some relations to partial differ- ence sets. September 5, 1989
