Here in Canada, EASTENDERS has just been cancelled nationally by the CBC.
No warning. No "by your leave". Just get home at night and instead of half
an hour of EASTENDERS on the VCR there was some American situation comedy
rerun rubbish.
Everyone who cares, even if you were watching from 'cross the border, should
register their complaints to the following address which I received from the
local CBC station as the source of their command to pull the episode that day
(and forever):
