Um, I think this is the right group for this.. How 'bout a group about RISC chips/machines? I have two pyramids on my hands and would appreciate some forum on the performance, tricks, and general behavior of RISC designs.. Pyramid seems to be doing well, and there's a lot of RISC stuff in the works.. Do you think this merits a newsgroup? (yet?).. -- Jordan K. Hubbard {sun, decwrl, dual}!twg!greipa!jordan Excuse me, what was the question again?

Try "net.arch" first; it's kind of a specialized topic. If it ends up
dominating the group, then maybe a subgroup is called for.

Unless they are overflowing with such discussions, I think that it should go there until the traffic warrants the creation of the group. -- Peter N Wan BELL : (404) 586-9663 [office] / (404) 355-6208 [home] UUCP : ...!{allegra,hplabs,ihnp4,rlgvax,ut-ngp,ut-sally}!gatech!gacsr!wan : ...!{akgua,emory}!gacsr!wan
