I have read several articles recently concerning the need for cheaper and cheaper 212A compatible modems. I have heard that American Bell Inc.(ABI) will be offering the original 212A modems for sale or lease. The pricing structure appears to go something like this: Purchase: $750.00 * Rental: $35.00/mo. any number of months $28.00/mo. for 2 years $25.00/mo. for 4 years There also might be bulk purchase plans available for you heavy-duty users. If you need more information, ABI has set up a "HELP" line. Call 800-555-5000 and see what more you can find out.
