[net.dcom] Experience with X.DOT ??

dyer (04/30/83)

Does anyone have experience with an implementation of X.25 called "X.DOT"
written by Pacific Software of Berkeley? It's written in C, is said to be
portable to most micros, and there's supposedly a version integrated into
the UNIX kernel, as well.

I would like to hear opinions on the package, ease of integration into
a system, performance stats, (mis)features, etc.

I will summarize for the net, if I should receive enough replies.
