Recently I've put my hands on Xlisp 2.0. I never liked version 1.6 for it was very restricted and patchy Common Lisp implementation. I was surprised to notice that Xlisp 2.0 implements some more sophisticated CL functions (e.g. labels, flet, etc.), however it is still missing lots of Common standard. Unfortunately, I do not have Xlisp 2.0 documentation to find out what is and is not available in the program. If you have an up-to-date documentation could you post it to comp.sources.mac (or binaries), or else could you send it to me directly. Also, it is quite likely that there is a new version of XLisp. If so, perhaps David Betz is listening to this message and could send us the most recent version to the net. Could it be that it already appeared in some strange news group? Which one? Finally, has anybody heard anything of a long promissed XScheme? Thanks -- Jacob
