Hello, All.
I have a very crashed Western Digital 40MB "Preference" drive, it was plugged
into a PostScript Printer and in the process something went wrong and the drive
is no longer recognised by my mac (when we bought it, it was already formatted
and had a system & finder installed). SUM II Disk Clinic reports that the drive
has "No SCSI partition map for volume." & "SCSI mapping is bad" (Using the
"Default 40" Volume Information File).
SCSI Probe2.01 Reports
Type Vendor Product Version
DISK WesDigtl 1006V-SCS 45
The Drive is marked as a Western Digital 40AP, Model No. WD40AP.
Can anyone help me ? What I need is a formatter (our marketing dep't bought the
drive and thats all I know about it) and/or driver (I think ?) for the thing.
Any help appreciated. Scott.
