I am posting this for someone else and will pass on replies. Does anybody have any experience/knowldge of Slide Library programs? Apparently slide libraries (as in the 35mm variety!) are quite different to other database applications because of specific problems with label generation and the possibility of including digitized images. The person does not wish to do a lot of database programming. Two program that have been heard of are LANSLIDE and SLINDEX1. Any comments about these and any others? What sort of price is to be expected?
