I've tried to run WriteNow 2.2 on two Classics now, and every time it is launched, the bomb appears shortly afterward, with the message "illegal instruction" and the only option is to restart. Originally, I thought the Microtek 3/50 upgrade card in one was at fault, but reformatting the hard disk fixed everything except WriteNow, and the same thing happened on another Classic when booted off a floppy disk. The Classic is running System Z-6.0.7 (Australasian version), the one it was shipped with. -- Phil Etheridge (phil@waikato.ac.nz) Phax: +64 +71 381 155 Computer Services/Mathematics & Statistics Phone: +64 +71 568 299 x 8339 University of Waikato, Hamilton, NZ.
