We at Gandalf Data Ltd of Ottawa, Ontario, are currently developing a
product in which we would like to use the Western Digital WD2511 Packet
Network Interface chip, said chip performing the duties of an X.25
frame level. We are, at this time, waiting for Western Digital to
provide us with a list of happy customers who can vouch for the
incredible performance of this chip. However, this list seems to be
rather slow in coming. If there is anybody out there who would be able
to provide information on the WD 2511 to us, we would be extremely
grateful for any help received. In particular, we are concerned with
any known bugs that the manufacturer has not made apparent, any patches
associated with these bugs, or any incompatibilities with X.25
networks.
