We are developing a package for a token-passing network using high speed
half duplex modems over PSTN lines (using the new Bell bridge for
multi-point). This system must also be PBX compatible. We would like
to conform to and work with any existing standards applicable, and would
greatly appreciate pointers to references (we will be happy to do some
digging if you show us where to start).
These standards may be in the developmental stages and NEED NOT be unix
specific.
We are currently planning on using the UDS 9600A/B modem. Experience
notes with this equipment are also welcomed.
