Some weeks ago I posted a request for a list of differences between VAX Fortran and ANSI Fortran '77. A couple of people referred me to Appendix C (or D, depending on how old the manual is) of the VAX Fortran User's Guide. That was not exactly what I had in mind; however I have just found precisely what I wanted. When I unpacked Fortran 4.6 this morning I looked at the Software Product Description (SPD) sheet. Lo and behold.... There is a list of the 19 VAX extensions, 7 "additional features", and the 9 optomization features. Seek and ye shall find.... John Child General Electric Aircraft Engines Lynn MA
