Catching up on some OLD mail... Noticed the message about the 785 that can't properly translate logical names - Mine did that way back when, when I upgraded it from 780-785. Data paths were broken. Good way to notice that - set the clock to fast. Does the problem get worse? Set clock slow. Does the problem get better? Get your FE's to check the data path boards (which basically means replace the suckers...)
