For those who have Atari ST's on their desks attached to a VAX which happens to have a QMS laser printer (a.k.a. Talaris), I have written a quickie in C that translates Degas format pictures into QUIC code to be printed on the laser printer. The pictures are excellent quality (a screen dump of the Desktop printed on the printer looks almost like the real thing, at the real size). I know, there aren't necessarily that many people who fit this description, but the program can certainly be modified to talk to other laser printers. I just can't justify hanging a printer directly off the Atari, so writing the program was the only way to get Atari screendumps. If you wish a copy of the program (maybe 30 lines) e-mail me NOT AT THIS ADDRESS! You'll never get through, I promise. Try sending mail to 'aven@umdhep.bitnet' or 'todd@cincom.umd.edu'. Ramble off.
