hi, does anyone out there know how to properly use the rtl procedures from vax-pascal? specificall im trying to use sys$spawn i declare the procedure using the proper format and the ;extern; option and the program compiles correctly (apparently) but when i run it all i get is a single linefeed. the command i gave was a "type" command that should have spawned a new process and typed a file? thanks kevin ashford
