As an alternative to a bigger VAX we are considering adding
an array processor. Specifically the NUMRIX 464 Array
Processor, for which the segmenting of code and optimization
is transparent to the user (according to the marketing
info). I would appreciate any experience or advice in the
general area of add-on array processors and would be will to
post a summary if there is sufficent response and interest.
