I received the update to VMS V4.5 that fixes the problem where disk index files were corrupted under certain conditions. It was mailed from Colorado Springs. The update consists of two replacement images. There was no special identifying information in the package, but I analyzed the images to find out what I could. A replacement F11BXQP shareable image changes the global section ID from 45/18AE24 under V4.4 to 5B/9C9A9B, and the link date from 3/22/86 18:07pm to 3/12/87 4:32am. A replacement INIT executable image changes the link date from 3/22/86 18:09pm under V4.4 to 3/31/87 1:10am. (See, DIGITAL works nights too. ;-) Ed <MCGUIRE@GRIN2.BITNET>
