I think i better speak up in this discussion.... Being subscriber to ... say 7-10 different mailing lists, i would VERY MUCH appreciate a Digest Form of the different lists. I receive some 50 messages a day from these lists, and i have quite a job seperating them into the proper folders, not to say how the situation is after (my too short, but anyway) holiday... i am sorry to say that some times the only thing to do was DELETE ALL. And - Yes, i know, there is a way to SET FOLDER TO =.... in the EAN fac. we are using, but every now and then, this won't work due to badly formatted mailer-output. Where does this lead my contribution to the discussion... PLEASE GO DIGEST - but, i very much agree with the mourning choir of the anti-digest-ives, it really is a problem to skip a message/part of a digest... Well, if the different DIGESTs had the same format, with an easy-to-recognize seperator, and the From-field still correct, a patch to the mailing systems would be ... close to heaven ? Are we voting? I can't stand digests. You can't REply to an individual, and have to page through subjects you don't care about. ..Bob -- Bob Page, U of Lowell CS Dept. page@ulowell.{uucp,edu,csnet}
