Somebody I know wishes to communicate between a VMS vax and a UNIX
VAX. The two systems are in different cities, with
(right now) only 4800 baud lines between them.

The obvious contenders are:

	1. uucp that runs under VMS (emulating unix under VMS and
then running uucp under that unix is evidently too expensive)

	2. TCP/IP over 4800 baud lines (given that we could get the BBN
TCP/IP drop-in, does anyone know if it would work with tty lines?)

	3. Something Else.

Suggestions to me please....
