I've begun to have a problem lately where one of the nodes on the cluster here begins to accumulate used SRP's over time until paged pool is exhausted. Using SDA I can see that there is an inordinate number of lock blocks and resource blocks on the afflicted node. I've been running VMS 4.5 for awhile and haven't seen this before. None of my users have any applications which do significant locking. Has anyone else seen this? I've installed the dreaded security bug patch, VPA, COBOL 3.4, FORTRAN 4.6, and PASCAL 3.5. Oh yeah I've also placed the pageswapper 'monitor' utility patch into 'monitor'. Going through the lock data base by hand is fairly tedious. Has anyone written a hack to scan through the lock and resource data bases in order to pinpoint where the locks/resources are coming from/owner by? I'd appreciate getting a copy before I break down and write my own kludge.
