Our group at WNRE has recently acquired an LN03+ for graphics and high quality word processing output. We have it connected to our VAXCluster (1x8650,1x785,2x750s @VMS 4.5) as a remote terminal, running in a private print queue. Our problem right now is: How can we determine the current font status and RAM available for downline-loading new fonts? If the LN03+ was connected to a terminal through the printer port, the DECRFS/ DECFSR sequences would do the trick. I see no obvious manner in which I can trap that information the way we have the LN03+ set up currently. Our group is just a normal bunch of number crunchers at our site and we do not have (and will not be granted by the computer centre) any special privileges, so options are likely limited. Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted. ========================================================================= Bruce Hedley Erwin Scrodinger once said Thermalhydraulics Branch about Quantum Mechanics: Atomic Energy of CANADA Limited "I don't like it, and I'm Whiteshell Nuclear Research Establishment sorry I ever had anything Pinawa, Manitoba, CANADA R0E 1L0 to do with it!"
