I'm looking for something that can be used to create a logfile of a session, similar to SET HOST/LOG, but I don't want to use SET HOST/LOG because of associated overhead. Does anyone know of such an animal? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ MMMMM MMMMM 2222 + + MM MM MM MM 222 222 + Mary Malmros + MM MM MM MM 22 222 + Systems Manager + MM MM MM MM 222 + Center for Academic Computing + MM MM MM MM 2222 + Smith College + MM MM MM MM 22222222222 + Northampton, MA 01063 + MM MMMM MM + (413) 584-2700 x3073 + MM MM MM + MANAGER@SMITH.BITNET + MM MM + + MM MM +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ MMMM MMMM

Just a quick note. Mary said that she didn't want to use SET HOST/LOG because of the overhead. Sure, there's overhead, but that's going to be the case with ANY product which can manage to produce a log of all keystrokes in a vms session. Aside from taking up one slot and a bit of the balance set, the overhead is really small. Dan Graham, Dynamics Research Corporation, (617) 475-9090 Ext. 2352 GRAHAM@DRCVAX.ARPA Hoc est meum hackum.
