["FEED ME!" --Audrey Two] The "undeliverable mail" messages occur because of the way this mailing list is set up at SRI. When your message arrives, the mail system at SRI attempts to deliver it. It finds that the name you supplied, INFO-VAX, is actually a list of many names at many hosts. Soooooo, the mail system sends out one copy of your message to every address on the list. The key is that your name still in the 'From' line. This means that all error messages are returned to you, not to SRI. That is why you receive "undeliverable mail" messages every time, and why I will shortly be receiving several myself. ---David R. Hampton Hampton @ Dockmaster.ARPA
