We are planning to purchase some stat muxes. One application will be 16 channels point-to-point, the other application would be a 3 node system with 16 channels at one end, routing through a 4 or 8 channel node to 16 channels at the other end. Due to local supplier/support considerations the 2 choices appear to be Timeplex or Gandalf (Switchmux). I would appreciate any information pro or con on either of these systems. ps. the links between the muxes will be 9600 bps modems. Thanks in advance.
