Looking over my notes from the 87 Spring DECUS Symposium, I found a reference to the console problems on the VAXen with PRO consoles. Someone at the VAX Hardware Panel (Q & A) session asked about a "time-bomb" that was set off whenever he did a CONNECT CONSOLE. The panelists said that it would be fixed with VMS 4.6, and required a clock fix and a microcode change in the PRO.
