See?! Another perfectly competent system person utterly screwed by a duplicate directory entry he didn't know about and had no *way* to know about without being extremely paranoid! What did I tell you? SET FILE/ENTER is the Antichrist. Furthermore, the entry was probably created by DEC during installation of the diags. They tried to do this to *my* disk with the [syse] standalone backup hack way back when. _H* -------
