I am told that IP/TCP (we call it TCP/IP) is available only for DG's native UNIX and that there are NO plans for this product under AOS. Perhaps you are confusing AOS, the operating system for the 16 bit Eclipse series minis, with AOS/VS, the operating system for the 32 bit MV Eclipse series minis. I am told that there are currently no plans to install TCP/IP under AOS/VS either; however, DG plans TCP/IP for their hosted UNIX which runs as a process (sort of like a UNIX daemon) under AOS/VS. The effective result will be TCP/IP under AOS/VS - sort of. Also, since FORD is such a large company, perhaps you have something going with DG's special products division or have access to a pre-release of s/w not available to the rest of us. There is a company selling a UNIX for DG's 16 bit Eclipse computers. However, when last I checked, it did not include TCP/IP. I don't remember the name of the company but I can get it if there is interest. I suggest that you get in touch with your local DG sales people. zadco
