One last little statement before I put this issue to rest. To restate, I agree I was wrong in flaming a user (and it turns out several flames came after the first which were also uncalled for) with another flame. For thos of you that feel I'm always abrasive, you don't know me and I disagree with you. For those of you with snide little remarks about the way I sign letters "From The Great Zar", I think you're taking the phrase to seriously (too bad letters don't make pictures and bios to accompany each letter so the reader doesn't get carried away (writing letters to avoid conflict helps as well)). My signature is 10 years old and was a joke when it started. Enough said. I do have a side issue: INFO-VAX gets too many duplicate letters (I am very gulty of extra quantity with a few long postings). After my initial message about "SYS$ANNOUNCE", at least 20+ letters came in to INFO-VAX about a cure. This is rediculous (its happened on other issues as well). *** I suggest all users send answers/replies to the originator of the message and let the originator of the message send the answer back to INFO-VAX. If no answer appears in INFO-VAX within a week, start posting to INFO-VAX. It sure would help cut down on the traffic. From The Great Zar
