[comp.os.vms] Finding out if logins are disabled, etc.

WARNOCK@prism.clemson.EDU (Todd Warnock) (07/25/87)

Is there any way to find out if logins are disabled when a user logs in ?
(There must be - VMS does it...) I'd like to track users with OPER priv
who login during SYSTEM maintenance time (when logins are disabled). I
DON'T want to disable them - just know when they login. Checking the
interactive count won't do either.

On a similar note, is there any way to, FROM AN APPLICATION PROGRAM, determine
whether or not someone gains access to an object (file, device, etc.) because
he has privileges ? I DON'T want to use AUDITing - (it won't work from a
program.)

Much thanks !
