[comp.os.vms] Request for program known as Bacon.

AGNEW@VCUVAX.BITNET (Brainwave Surfer) (07/30/87)

Dear All in Netland:

I have heard of an artifical intelligence program called BACON
that will take data and extract equations and rules from it. For
example, someone put in planetary orbits and got Kepler's three laws
of planetary motion. Anyone know where that program is? We may have
a use for it here at MCV in head injury research. I have some personal
interest in it also for astrophysics.
Replies can be send to AGNEW@VCUVAX on the Bitnet. Direct replies
would be nice as I don't subscribe to INFO-VAX, but I will post the
answer if I get enough inquires. All inquiries will be answered!!

                              Jim
