I've got some fortran code that read text out of /data=reduced text librarys. With each module read, the working set simply grows. I think that the lbr$close routine is not freeing up the memory used to de-compress the module. Is there an undocumented routine to free this memory up? Can anyone point me to a manual page or a fiche square? I've been poking around in the DCX$ routines and the free_vm routine. It seems that the library routines should be doing this. Perhaps I've broken something. Has anyone else done this without problems? thanks Mark Hittinger/systems programmer iv/ocis south center University of Louisville/Louisville, Ky 40292 sysmsh@ulkyvx.bitnet sysmsh%ulkyvx.bitnet@wiscvm.wisc.edu
