I have a utility that was written here for software distribution that checksums a bunch of files and then stores all of the filenames with the checksum into another file. When the software reaches the other end of where we are sending it there is a verify program that reads the file with all of the checksum information in it and verifies that all of the files made it intact. This could also be used to run a periodic checksum on system files to check for patches that should not be there. If you want a copy send me mail. If enough people reply I'll post it on the net. It comes with a help file as well as a VMSinstal file to make life easier.
