(504)286-7068 TO: Remote User ( _INFO-VAX@KL.SRI.COM ) Subject: Low disk space warining for VMS? Hello all, I vaguely remember that TOPS-20 had a neat feature which would issue warning messages to the operator when disk space got below a certain level. Does VMS have a similar feature? I have dug through all of the manuals that I think this info should be in and haven't found anything. Thanks in advance, Anthony Petit ( alp@uno.bitnet)

The release notes for VMS 4.5 Section 3.2.12 provides such a procedure. It is a command file to be submitted to a batch que. It can be modified to allow any site specific operation that you want. I have seen it used to delete temporary files, notify the users, etc. * *---Art * *Arthur T.
