Hello, Does anybody out there know about DEC's "VAX-11 RSX" product for emulating PDP-11 RSX code on VAXes? The specific question is: DEC seems to market a companion product, "FORTRAN77 VAX to RSX", which is the PDP-11 Fortran compiler running under the above environment. The catch is that while VAX-11 RSX is supposed to run on all CPUs from the MicroVAX up, the Fortran77 product is only listed as being supported on the 8200 and up. A friend of mine would be very interested in this product if it ran on a MicroVAX, but is unable to get a straight answer (or even a glimmer or recognition) from his regional DEC salespeople (even though the product is listed in their software pricelists). Any information on this software, or hints on how to find out technical details about obscure DEC software products, would be most welcome. Please reply by E-mail to me, since I don't usually read this newsgroup.
