The package that makes an IBM mainframe look like a DECnet node is called Interlink; we have it here and it works just fine. They use IBM resident software to talk at channel speeds to a PDP11 router so that RSX DECnet is the router one sees. However the IBM side can both create and receive DECnet connections. There is a VM version and an MVS version. Note: IBM's notion of security seems much less comprehensive than one is used to in VMS; some care in allowing access via the IBM is needed to avoid creating security holes. Interlink is advertised in DEXPO and in magazines; sorry, I don't have address info.

InfoVAXERS: Intel also sells a package that allows a an IBM to look like a DECnet node. It uses an Intel FastPath and software from FlexLink. You can get an inter- face to PROFS, file transfer, terminal emulation, and all of that good stuff. Also, Interlink, which also sells a product that does the same thing, is in Fremont California.
