The distribution of the Tektronix VMS TCP/IP software to non-profit organizations has been changed, effective immediately. Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and Tektronix (TEK) have agreed to a change in the method of distribution of the CMU-TEK VMS TCP/IP software. The major aspects of this distribution are: 1. The new distribution software will be called CMU-TEK IP package, and will be distributed by CMU. 2. CMU-TEK IP software will not require a separate license from TEK; only the CMU license will be required. 3. CMU-TEK IP will be licensed to be used on all DEC Computers including workstations, such as the Micro-vax II. 4. CMU-TEK IP will be distributed in object and source formats. 5. All unfilled and future requests to Tektronix will be forwarded to CMU for actual distribution. 6. CMU-TEK IP software will be available to non-profit and commercial organizations. 7. All requests and enquires for CMU-TEK IP should be sent to: CMU-TEK IP Software Request Computing Services Carnegie Mellon University 4910 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15213-3890 Dennis Thomas John Leong Mgr.
