Is there anyone experiencing difficulties with DHU11 multiplexors under VMS V4.5? We have tried a couple and have found that after a printer connected to one of the ports sends an XOFF to stop further transmission of data, anywhere from 50 to 100 characters get sent before the multiplexor honours the XOFF. This can really upset some printers that do not have enough space left in their buffer to accomodate this. A VMZ32 connected to the same printer will only send 1 or 2 characters after receiving an XOFF. We do not know if the problem is in the DHU11 microcode or in VMS. Please mail replies.
