[comp.os.vms] Vaxstation II screen problems

JDEIFIK@venera.isi.EDU (Jeff Deifik) (09/15/87)

When I create about 16 windows on my microvax, something goes screwy.
The screen gets corrupted, and the system crashes shortly, or the
system crashes right away, in either case with an error message
unrelated to the window manager. Show memory always shows lots of free
resources before and after the crash. I'm running microvms 4.4

Does anyone have any similer problems, or is anyone running with lots of
windoes?

This sounds very familiar. Did you remember to reinstall VWS after upgrading
to VMS v4.4 (and after any memory upgrades you might have performed)? What
version of VWS are you running?
