While running shutdown, one is asked the question "Do you want to spin down the disks ?", does answering "yes" place the heads in a safety zone ? I have to take a microvax with two RD53's for a little drive and don't want to damage the media. Any thoughts ? Thanks ! David Love DL01@TE.CC.CMU.EDU -------
