Thanks to everyone who responded to my query about PTYs putting me in RWAST. As you all pointed out to me, the problem was not in the PTY drivers, it was a quota problem (BYTLM). Btw, I didn't manage to do a show proc/quot on the process. I just got a message that it was suspended. Nor did anal/syst work, I just got a message about no access to location <whatever>. The solution is to disable resource wait mode with $setrwm. The program in question is called PTY, it allows you to create several PTYs, switching between them and logging output to a file. If you're interested please notify me. It's written in BLISS-32. (The BLISS compiler is able to generate MACRO code, I'll include both).
