We are having a problem with START/QUEUE/FORM_MOUNTED in VMS 4.5. We first issue STOP/QUEUE/NEXT to a printer queue in order to change to new forms. This works fine but after we have mounted the new forms on the printer and we have set top-of-form, START/QUEUE sends a form feed. This causes the printer to skip to the top of the page using the page size of the old forms. The operator must then manually re-align the new forms a second time. Note that SET QUEUE/FORM_MOUNTED does not send any form feed. Why do START/QUEUE and SET QUEUE behave differently? Other than using SET QUEUE, is there any other way we can suppress the initial form feed sent by START/QUEUE? -- BITNET: OCCGLEN@LUVMS UUCP: watmath!thunder!gcbroman
