Some time ago someone posted patches to apply to MONITOR.EXE in SYS$SYSTEM.. These patches would allow the so-called unsupported monitor classes to work. Among them was the class ETHERNET. With regards to the patch listed, a caveat: Do not use this patch on the SYSTEM version of monitor.exe! If you have to use such a patch, perform it on a system manager's version, which is far away from sys$system!
